Covering his arms are a pair of black arm warmers, with a white leather band hanging from his right wrist, and hanging from his belt on his right hip is a white wolf tail, made of faux fur. Finally, around his neck is an empty silver locket. While in the Fire Nation, Feihong wears a much more lavish outfit, comprised of blue slacks, a black leather belt, a white button-up shirt, and a blue blazer. Around his right wrist is the same white leather band, and around the left is a blue, black, and white striped tie, which hangs at the thin end. Hanging from his belt is a much thicker, more lavish wolf tail, still made of faux fur, with two gold tassels accompanying it. Finally, around his neck is the same locket. When attending formal functions, Feihong dresses very well, wearing a nice black suit with a gray checkered lining, over a pale blue shirt, with a black-and-yellow vertically-striped tie. Over the suit is a long black cloak with a decorative blue lining, and topping his head is a black tophat with a blue band, and a gray faux fur decoration. Finally, a monocle covers his left eye, with a small heart charm at the end of the hanging chain. Finally, when acting as a vigilante, Feihong wears a dark outfit comprised of black slacks, a skintight black tanktop with a V-Cut neck, a black leather belt, and a long black coat with a raised collar. Hanging from the belt is another gray faux fur wolf tail, and around his neck is a black leather choker with a heart charm hanging from a short chain. Covering his eyes are a pair of dark blue sunglasses, and his feet are covered again by knee-high combat boots. ABNORMALITIES | Feihong's arms are littered with small scars, mostly cuts and burns, from accidents resulting from his practice with bending and performing. As well, around his eyes are sharp red markings, giving his eyes a distinct, wolfish look. For example, Feihong uses strong motions reminiscent of Earthbending stances to create elephants and rhinos out of flames. As he developed and uses the style for his shows, he calls it "Performance Firebending." With increased focus, he can even use this technique with lightning generation, to create mighty dragons of lightning. In addition Feihong can channel his Firebending through fluted objects, allowing for even more spectacular performances. WEAPONS | Feihong carries a sword resembling a mix of a jian and a saber, double-edged, with a slight curve near the tip, fluted and forged of titanium, causing Firebending channeled through it to turn silver in color. As well, he carries a flute, carved of ebony wood and fitted in fine silver, designed to be used with his Firebending to improve his performance and add music to the display. Finally, though not a weapon by any means, Feihong carries a small first-aid kit, wth the bare essentials for treating minor wounds like cuts, bruises, scrapes and especially burns, PET | Xueyu: Feihong's dear pet, a Falcon Cobra that he's had since he was a child. Xueyu has pitch black back scales, a pale gray underbelly, and red-feathered wings, with a red rattle at the end of his tail. your skin is burning at the sight of me HISTORY | Weilan was born on a stormy day in the Fire Nation's capital city, the son of then-Fire Army General Hundun Lu Huangshi Lang, and his wife, the young noblewoman Huo Lian Huangshi Lang. Because of his brilliant blue eyes and striking azure hair, his father decided to name the boy Weilan Huoyan, meaning Azure Flame, and expected great things of his son. He decided that his son would have the best education and training, and as soon as he could walk, Weilan was put through rigorous exercizes and lessons to groom him into a proper member of the ancient and powerful Huangshi Lang family, whether he wanted it or not. Hundun even retired from his position in the military to properly train his son in the ways of their family. Unfortunately for Hundun, Weilan desired none of it, and after a few years, began to skip out on his lessons, opting to instead watch the performing Firebenders put on brilliant displays with their dancing flames. This inspired the young Weilan, and he decided that, instead of throwing himself into a pointless war and using his fire to hurt others, he would refine it, and use it to entertain and make people happy. He began to practice in secret, eventually learning to shift his fire from orange to red and to blue, and remembered something his father had told him. "Be fierce, like a beast. Strong like a rhino, swift like an eagle, fluid like a snake, and sharp like a wolf." Taking the meaning behind these words to heart, Weilan decided to study the what he could of the other bending arts, adding stances into his techniques inspired by the other arts, and developing the full form of his performance Firebending, using the new stances to shape the wild flames into the form of animals. This style added a whole new world to his performances, but unfortunately, word spread more quickly than he'd liked, and his father soon caught wind of his performances. Outraged, Hundun demanded his son abandon his foolish shows and honor his lineage by joining the military, as his younger sister Hui Feng had. Hundun then revealed something that shook Weilan to the core, that both Hundun and Huo Lian had arranged potential brides for Weilan, and he was to meet them and decide on his wife between them. Hundun's choice was the young eldest daughter of his former subordinate, a feisty but bratty and domineering young woman named Huoshu. Huo Lian's choice, however, was one of her friends, a thirty-year-old noblewoman named Hong Shunu. Terrified and mortified by his parents' actions, Weilan was pushed over the edge. He quickly rushed off, packing his belongings in secret and stealing away in the night, leaving his name and home behind to start a new life, far from his family. A new life in Republic City. As he settled in to life in the city, he began to use a false name to hide his connections to his family, going by Feihong Shou, and choosing to hide his blue flame, using only red fire in his shows. Thus, he now lives in the Fazen Gardens district of Republic City, making a living from performing shows and cooking for special events hosted by wealthy residents.

Alright, sorry for the wait.

"Mastering" other bending stances is completely unneeded to shape fire. Canon firebending performers just used firebending stances itself. That, along with the site canon of the war, make anyone outside of Republic city learning "other stances" nigh impossible.

Unless you can show me a canon example of being able to channel bending, you're going to have to make your weapon fluted to create a flaming sword.
