He has the forms down perfectly, but he's lucky if he can make a small splash. He is also not the fighting-type, being generally incapable of feeling violent and not inclined towards feats of athleticism. He wouldn't work on these skills at all if they weren't required of him. There are some signs that his water-bending talent might be best served in healing, but since there is no one pushing him in that direction, and since he has been raised with a traditional mind-set, he does not pursue that style of waterbending. From the day he could walk and talk, he has had non-stop tutoring and training from the best the Southern Water Tribe has to offer, in preparation for the day when he will become leader of the tribe. Signik has never felt particularly resentful about this. For the most part, he has not interacted with many people his own age, so he doesn't really know what he's missing. The other thing is he's naturally curious, an enthusiastic learner, and eager to please, so he takes to the routine of tutoring and training very well.  Signik has lived a very sheltered life, which shows in the fact that he can be very trusting. Nobody has ever given him any reason to believe that they would do him harm (well, unless they're from somewhere other than the water tribes) physically or emotionally. He has also never been in a position where someone lower in status than him doesn't follow his instructions or orders. He has not had many adventures beyond the occasional trouble his curiosity can get him into (such as when he climbed to the very top of the palace to see if he could get a better look at the stars and very nearly fell from what would've been a great distance). Unbeknownst to Signik, he is not actually his father and mother's son (though, he has been treated as such and suspects nothing). Because they were incapable of having a child and needed an heir, they looked into other means of getting a child. It is unclear who Signik's biological parents might be, and whether those biological parents are aware of what has happened to him.

High and weight should be in numbers, not a short description.

What are these leader-like qualities you speak of? There are so many possible choices.

Most characters on Avatar don't really have a surname. For instance, Princess Yue... no idea what her surname is. Sokka or Katara. Korra. Surnames seem to be more of an Earth kingdom thing.

Even though, yes you are correct, most characters in Avatar didn't have spoken surnames... We do, so it'd be awesome if you could have one.

Sorry about that, I was under the impression that the abnormalities section was a catch-all category.

Jewelry isn't really abnormal, either. I will fill out the attire section, so that it is one paragraph.

I don't know why a surname is needed. I know this is a non-canon Avatar RP, but shouldn't something as simple as a name be up to the person making the character? I'm just not sure I understand, and the rules only said that the names had to be realistic. There was nothing about characters needing a surname, and given the RP this is, I'm not sure why it should be assumed that the characters need last names. I suppose you could try and argue consistency, but there are some people with surnames in Avatar, too, so it's not an out-of-place thing, either way.

Alright, I'll point back to my previous post about surnames. This isn't the show. This is a site based on the lore of the show. Everyone should have a surname. I don't understand why you're fighting me tooth and nail over this.

If you can give me a reason why there absolutely has to be a surname, then I can give my character a surname. As it is, it seems like a rather small issue.

It's a very common thing among proboards rp sites to make characters with surnames. Like Nox said, this site is not the show itself so that doesn't mean that your character doesn't need a surname. This site is only based and inspired by the show. Plus, your character is an important member of a royal family in southern water tribe so surnames are kind of important in a rp for that. Every character on this site has a surname because it is expected of them to include the surname. So please fix the surname issue. Don't debate with the staff when we say something needs to be fixed.
